I sent her money a few times after meeting her in Kiev in March. She seemed honest when I met met her but did manage to get me to take her to the most expensive restaurants in Kiev. She asked for money to pay for her private translator to translate our letters and wanted to take English lessons to prepare her to come visit me in the US with a Visa. I quit sending her money when she said she needed to take enough English lessons to pass an interview to get her Visa to go to the US which I knew was not true. I haven't heard back from her since her last email on August 1st. I guess I'm just not realizing she was just using me for money. I should have done a search on her name before visiting her in Kiev.
